2 Miles Every Other Day until 30 miles reached

Now That I finished the mile a day challenge, I wanted to move on to something a bit different. 2 miles every other day until i ran 30 miles. I have a very small running group where we all hold each other accountable and post our workouts for the day. This is a big help because it almost forces me to stick to my challenges. Check out my progress!







Did my 2 miles today. Today was a very hard run day for me.. maybe my hardest ever. I did my work out late last night so my legs and arms are very sore. Then this morning to get out and push the stroller it has never felt so heavy. Over a hundred pounds of adorable and stroller. My body it was also so weak from whatever this medical condition is that Dr are trying to figure out.. and I was trying not to puke the whole last quarter mile. My hands are trembling really bad I have to talk to text this I can't even type haha.. Very hard run I had to push so hard I'm glad it's over with to be honest but I look forward to trying again. Today wasnt really supposed to be a run day for me but after feeling so awful with yesterdays run all i could think about is running again..i felt much better today so made today about the kids. I went and ran a mile at the park and let them play for a while. My son was excited that a train went right by us when i was running and my daughter sat in a swing for the first time and had a blast. This morning i woke up VERY weak. I was nervous about running. I really didnt think i could do it. Ive NEVER thought i cant do it...but How could i? I didnt even have enough strength to brush my hair. Literally. But i went out to the track and i did it. The kids got to play for a bit when i was done. When i finished all i could think about was "How did i do that?" ...while running i just kept telling myself to put one foot in front of the other, and i thought about all the runners i follow on IG, the problems and obstacles they face, and how they can do it, so i pushed, and i did it. I felt like i would collapse in the end but i didnt. I went and grabbed some groceries and then headed home. 4 miles today!! I havent ran 4 miles in YEARS!! As soon as i turned on the GPS on my watch my watch battery said it was low so my husband gave me his just in case! Those hills were HELL! I almost couldnt even walk up a couple. I pushed really hard for the first two miles. Got a great time on both, the last two miles i took my time and took pics so ran in place a few times!! Some hills i knew i was running but they were so steep i wasnt even moving!!Im so proud of this! I thought today would be a bad day. I woke up with swollen hands and weak arms, but i was so motivated i ignored it. My rash flared up and my hip fracture is bugging me but im so happy this happened. Totally dedicating this run to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11/2001!

2.5 miles with the Barret..he got tired, i think it was too far for him. He pooped mid run and another dog approached him because of irrisponsible pet owners 😠 this is why i carry mace. People let their dogs out unleashed but theyre not obedient when you say come. 🐢 this is how furry friends get hurt. Anywayyyyy 23 minute runkeeper challenge got me entered to win some shoes. I look mad but was just trying to catch my breath...this was a good push! My best timed 2 mi is about 20:09 without a stroller and i just did this in 20:50 with a stroller!!! Only true honest hard work got me here! I have been working since i got up this morning and had to force myself to stop so i cloud get my run in today, but now its back to working. Ill sleep when i die! Ran a mile this morning but got spooked being alone and random people coming out of woods so left and came home... ran another 3.14 this evening with family and Barret 🐢 so proud of him ive been working with him and hes a perfect running dog... Just a bit of a heffer. Somehow missed the rain!! Got my 5k challenge complete for September (runkeeper)... too bad i cant put these miles towards October 😭. Im feeling pretty beat up and woke up extremely weak but i always feel proud to push through and run.
